About Us
The Australian & New Zealand Risk Management Association is Risk Management's professional education body. Established as a not-for-profit organisation, the Association is governed by practising Risk Management Professionals. Recognising that Risk Management is a Multi-disiplinary field, we also work closely with many other specialist institutions and associations, and seek to represent an increasingly broard and diverse set of stakeholders. The membership is drawn from industry, commerce, consultancy, and the public sector. Members have backgrounds in many different risk-related disciplines: accountants, project managers, insurers, chartered surveyors, health care professionals, lawyers, bankers, auditors, health and safety professionals and engineers are among those represented. Australian & New Zealand Risk Management Association Associateship (ANZRMAM) is recognised as the sign of a risk management professional and is achieved through examination: Fellowship (FANZRMA) follows through accredited practical experience. The Institute's key objectives are:
Mission Statement "The Australian & New Zealand Risk Management Association will strive to provide its members with support and information to help them practice and promote the highest professional standards in risk and safety management in the workplace. The association will also continually endeavour to enhance the reputation of its members and to champion the cause of the risk, safety and health management profession." Health and Safety PracticesAustralian & New Zealand Risk Management Association is committed to best practice in health and safety. The Board of Governors reviews annually the Safety Health and Environmental Policy which is signed by the Chairman.
